We have been serving sms services for schools and colleges successfully from past 2 years. After the New TRAI Rule implemented for transactional or template based sms, more and more schools and colleges are approaching us for the sms services. So, we thought to share the procedure for transactional sms for schools and colleges.

List of Documents Required

SCHOOL REGISTRATION COPY
This copy needs to be provided to prove that the school or college has been registered.

NCPR DECLARATION
NCPR Declaration required on School s / College s letter head with the sign and stamp. Sample form can be found here.

6 CHARACTERS SENDER ID
All schools and colleges are eligible to send sms with alpha sender id which needs to be minimum and maximum 6 characters long.

TRANSACTIONAL SMS MESSAGE TEMPLATE
Every sms message will be delivered based on the pre-approved sms message template. Transactional Sms message template needs to be given for approval, for example

Dear Parents,Please submit school fees of your ward before XYZ, Otherwise a fine of XYZ will be charged XYZ, Thanks.Principal,XYZ SCHOOL NAME
where xyz can be replaced with your alternate text or message pertaining to the sms message.
